Ben Hall

Making your heli experience in the Central Plateau extra special

Ben Hall, Airborne NZ’s owner, has spent a lifetime in the outdoors. He grew up on the family farm south west of Lake Taupo and started guiding back country fly fishing and hunting a few years after leaving school. He’s guided extensively throughout the central Plateau of the North Island and has an intimate knowledge of this place he calls home.

In 2010 Ben acquired his commercial helicopter licence and has been flying ever since. Over that time Ben has logged just under 5000 hours of helicopter time with the vast majority of that being flown in the rugged bush and mountain country of the North Island.

Over the duration of his career he’s made some fantastic contacts and formed great partnerships with some of the industry’s best adventure providers.  If Ben’s not guiding you himself he’ll be ensuring he’s putting you in the hands of the best in the business and endeavouring to make your experience with Airborne NZ unforgettable.
